Cautions/Warnings

1. This device is designed for single use only, and is not to be reused or re-sterilised. Do not Use if package is opened or damaged.

2. Endoscopic procedures should be performed only by physicians with adequate training and knowledge of these procedures. In addition, medical literature should be consulted regarding techniques, hazards, contraindications, and complications prior to the performance of these procedures.

3. Before endoscopic instruments and accessories from different manufacturers are utilised together in a procedure, verify compatibility and ensure that electrical isolation of ground is not compromised.

4. A thorough understanding of techniques and principles involved in electrosurgical procedures is necessary to avoid burn or shock hazard to patient and or operator.

5. Do not embed the tip of the electrode in the tissue for more than 10 seconds. Indications for Use To be used for providing suction and irrigation during a suitable Laparoscopic procedure.

Instructions for Use

1. Remove the protective cap from the cannula.

2. Check the cannula and the white closure bung at the rear are tight.

3. Attach the spike to the chosen fluid bag and the suction connector to a suitable floor suction unit. If using only one fluid bag be sure to close the tap on the other spiked tube.

4. If a different cannula is required remove the cannula and attach the appropriate cannula tightly to the trumpet valve.

5. Run through the irrigation fluid to remove any air in the system by pressing the irrigation valve.

6. Insert the cannula into a suitable port and depress the appropriate valves to operate the suction or irrigation as required . Recommended Maximum Diathermy Setting: Cutting 50W, Coagulation 70W
