On July 5-7, 2024, Hanh Nguyen Medical Equipment Joint Stock Company and SMT were honored to become one of the Gold Sponsors for the annual Interventional Cardiology Conference – HSIC 2024, taking place at Anya Premier Qui Nhon Hotel – Binh Dinh.
The conference brought together more than 150 speakers who are professors, associate professors, doctors, and medical experts from home and abroad (Japan, China, Malaysia, Thailand) and nearly 1,000 delegates. The conference is an opportunity for experts to share experiences, knowledge, and the latest technological advances in interventional cardiology.
Coming to this HSIC 2024 Conference, Hanh Nguyen has the opportunity to introduce the Supraflex Cruz coronary artery stent product with the latest clinical studies, evaluating the safety and effectiveness in an expanded patient file of patients over 75 years old with STEMI, NSTEMI and multi-vessel previously intervened, patients at high risk of bleeding, etc.
From there, the optimal intervention guideline for the above group of patients was proposed, along with demonstrating the safety of the Supraflex Cruz stent when using dual antiplatelet therapy – DAPT for less than 1 month.
On July 6, 2024, in Session 6 in Hall 1, Dr. Nguyen Duc Chinh presented a report on “Data from clinical studies of Supraflex Cruz Ultra-Thin Stent”. The report showed that Supraflex Cruz stent with ultra-thin stent wall features brings many benefits and is not inferior to other competing products.
In addition, at this session, doctors discussed and shared about the Live Case In The Box at S.I.S Can Tho Hospital: “ACCURACY CEREBRAL CARDIOVASCULAR SYNDROME – MISFORTUNES NEVER COME SINGLE” – performed with Supraflex Cruz stent from SMT (Ireland).
HSIC 2024 Conference is an annual scientific conference organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Interventional Cardiology Association with the aim of improving the professional qualifications of medical staff as well as opening up many international cooperation opportunities, contributing to promoting the development of the Vietnamese healthcare sector in general and the field of interventional cardiology in particular.
